Dr. Munir Chaudhuri's journey into the field of medicine began early, sparked by a desire to understand and treat heart disease. The loss of a family member to cardiac complications inspired him to delve deep into cardiology, aiming to make a difference in the lives of his patients. He finds immense satisfaction in diagnosing and treating heart conditions, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing their quality of life.

A Comprehensive Training Path
In-Depth Medical Training

Dr. Chaudhuri's medical education and training have been extensive and diverse, equipping him with a robust foundation in cardiology and internal medicine. After earning his medical degree from the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Los Angeles County & University of Southern California, where he gained hands-on experience managing various patient conditions. Further honing his expertise, he pursued a Cardiology Fellowship at Riverside Community Hospital, achieving COCATS level II in cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, cardiac CT, and nuclear cardiology.

Riverside Community Hospital - Cardiology Fellow

(2021-2024) - Riverside, CA

As a Cardiology Fellow, Dr. Chaudhuri organized and led weekly Cardiac Imaging Conferences and a monthly Cardiology-Radiology conference, enhancing the diagnostic accuracy of non-invasive cardiac imaging.

Kaiser Permanente Riverside - Per Diem Hospitalist

(2022-2024) - Riverside, CA

Dr. Chaudhuri provided direct care to hospitalized adults, managing admissions, cross-coverage, and consultations for a variety of medical conditions.

Emory University Hospital - Attending Hospitalist, Assistant Professor

(2017-2021) - Atlanta, GA

Dr. Chaudhuri served as an attending hospitalist and Junior Medical Director for the Neurology-Medicine unit, leading the implementation of POCUS.

(2014-2017) - Los Angeles, CA

Dr. Chaudhuri managed the care of insured and uninsured patients across various medical settings, including ICU, CCU, and specialty clinics.

Dr. Chaudhuri's technical acumen was sharpened during his time as a Consulting System Administrator, where he established secure communication networks for medical offices. His research experience includes investigating cavitation effects on monoclonal antibodies at Genentech and studying Legionella detection standards at the Utah Department of Health.
